The Making of simonarneberg.com

Well, Here We Are

If you're reading this (which you are), then you already have a pretty good indication of what this website is like. I created simonarneberg.com in my free time after being introduced to Claude Code at a work-related workshop, and I was so intrigued by the world of possibilities it opened that I had to try my hand at making a personal website with it. I don't easily fall into the hype surrounding generative AI tools, but Claude honestly feels like one of the most game-changing tools I've worked with in a long time.

Overall Vision

Detail my intent behind the site - a place to share my ideas with the world, and a chance to grow my technical and creative skills. Give my honest thoughts about the state of AI -- my skepticism, my hesitancy, and my excitement.

Working With Claude

Describe my process of working with Claude, how I prompt, Claude skills I used, etc. Delve deeper into Claude usage statistics (actual cost of API tokens?)?

My Favorite Features So Far

Show how the site has changed as I continue to update it. Talk about the home page, with polaroid carousel (and the home icon for fun).

Hosting This Website

How I actually built the site, what technical tools/skills I used, how someone else might recreate my process to make their own site.

The Future of simonarneberg.com

I'm hoping to continually improve this site as I learn more, and as I have more ideas. In an ideal world, I would have enough content on the backburner to start producing a meaningful project blog post each month or week. But we'll see if that consistency is possible. I do have some future projects in mind that I'd like to create, and I'm also open to hear any ideas that you might have!
